Donald Francis Hanchon, (October 9, 1947) is an American bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. Born in Jackson, Michigan, Hanchon studied at St. John’s Provincial Seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Bishop Donald Hanchon )〕 He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese on May 15, 1971, and began to serve in a number of its parish. During the 1980s, Hanchon began to study Spanish and Mexican culture, to serve better the population from that nation beginning to settle in the region in large numbers.
